The outstanding level of drama at KEHS inspires participants and audiences alike. We stage at least two joint productions with the boys of King Edward’s School each year, the Junior Production in the Autumn Term, and the Senior Production in January, with auditions and rehearsals beginning in September. Some Sixth Formers join Stage Crew on Friday afternoons, working on Scenic Art, Costume, Lighting, Design and Stage Management for a variety of performances.

Recent productions have included ‘Arabian Nights’; ‘Oh What a Lovely War; ‘A Christmas Carol’, ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ and 'Blue Stockings'.

Budding thespians can also join the Junior and Senior Drama Clubs and Societies, which rehearse at lunchtimes for more informal performances to family and friends. There is also the opportunity to gain the LAMDA qualification.
