DUDLEY FESTIVAL OF MUSIC, DRAMA AND DANCE

The Dudley Festival of Music, Drama & Dance took place over the weekend. Ria won first prize in the Verse Speaking 13 - 14 years category of the Drama competition, and was awarded her medal and certificate by the Mayor and Mayoress of Dudley. Well done Ria!

INSTRUMENTAL EVENING

On Monday 6th March several of our girls performed in the Piano and Vocal Instrumental Evening in the Ruddock Hall. On the piano we heard performances from Samantha, Jyotsana, Alisha and Anushna. We had vocal performances from Naina, Lucia, Rohita and Jieyi. Well done to everyone who took part!

THIRDS DRAMA PERFORMANCE

​On Thursday night the Studio Theatre hosted a wonderful evening of Drama from our youngest dramatists. Members of the Thirds Drama Club performed three spine tingling performances about ghosts, zombies and haunted houses! It was a wonderfully entertaining evening.

THE BIG SLEUTH

In Tuesday’s assembly, Mr Bassett and his A Level Art students officially launched the Big Sleuth Competition. To most of us, the word ‘sleuth’ means a detective but it’s also the collective noun for a group of bears, and we among scores of schools who have been given a sculpture of the endangered sun bear to decorate.
