Congratulations to Derwent who has been awarded the Peter Clarke Memorial Cup by the National Children's Orchestra South Westerlies Regional Orchestra for her musicality and dedication in 2019. She is the youngest recipient of the Cup since it started in 2007.
Well done to the 'Rose Quartet' of Samantha, Jennifer, Naina and Beatrice who performed in Symphony Hall prior to the CBSO Youth Orchestra Concert on 23rd February. The girls delivered a 30 minute programme of Haydn, Dvořák and Shostakovich to an audience of approximately 150 people.
