Anya Returns to KEHS

On Thursday 5th March, we welcomed Anya Duxbury back to School. Anya is currently in her first year studying Anthropology at Queen’s University Belfast. She spoke about the opportunities available at Queen’s, including generous scholarships for GB students, and life in the beautiful city of Belfast. As well as having the lowest student cost of living, Belfast is also the safest region in the UK. Anya talked about the content of her Anthropology degree, explaining the different strands of study and how they draw on all her A levels in History, Geography and Psychology. She hopes to spend her second year studying in the US, as part of Queen’s partnership programme, as well as carrying on her role as a Student Ambassador. Many thanks to Anya for visiting KEHS! This was a fascinating session, with lots of great questions from the Sixth Form students in attendance.
