RS Trip to Coventry Cathedral

On October 3rd, a group of Upper Fourth RS students visited Coventry Cathedral in order to learn about the Cathedral’s work in relation to reconciliation. The girls had the opportunity to visit both the New and the Old Cathedral and learn about their rich histories. It was a day filled with insightful learning and personal reflection. The Cathedral was truly fascinating; whilst symbolising a religious place of worship, its history filled the girls with a sense of hope and tragedy. The remnants of the Second World War are visible in its desolate structure yet it continues to embody hope and is a shining example of how peace always eventually prevails over war.
