KEHS Wins TES Fundraising Initiative of the Year Award!

We are delighted to announce that KEHS has been awarded the TES Fundraising Initiative of the Year Award! The ceremony, which took place last night at Grosvenor House Hotel in London, saw more than 400 representatives from schools around the country come together for the TES Independent School Awards 2018. Nominated for our ‘Trust Club’ Sixth Form initiative, KEHS was in good company with schools such as Latymer Upper School, Wolverhampton Grammar School and Wellington College also winning their respective categories. The judges said: “From a strong field of entries, KEHS emerged as worthy winners through their innovative ‘Trust Club’ of Sixth Formers. With great enthusiasm and dedication, the girls rapidly raised substantial funds for bursaries and have evidently sown the seeds of a highly sustainable philanthropic culture focused on widening access to the excellent education provided by the school.” The girls worked extremely hard throughout the campaign, using their own individual skills to make the initiative a success; whether it was phoning alumnae, designing the new logo, creating social media posts or helping to film the new campaign video. Huge congratulations and thanks to Sixth Formers Cerian, Dorothy, Mehak, Manvir, Asyia, Fiona, Eva , Lily and Camara for giving their time and effort towards such an important cause and for being advocates for the next generation of girls at KEHS.
