KEHS Community Read

This week, KEHS began our annual Community Read! To encourage girls to read from a wide range of authors and genres, forms in the Thirds were each given a different book to read. These books will then be rotated around each form, each half term, to ensure that all titles have been read by the end of the academic year. Girls are also asked to submit a piece of work focused on the theme of each book in any form or medium they like! This could include a piece of artwork, a model or painting, a book review, a newspaper article or even a piece of music or interpretive dance! Those who take part in the Community Read and submit a variety of work for each book they read will be in with the chance of becoming the KEHS Community Read winner for 2017/18! Titles this year include: Stay Where You Are and Then Leave by John Boyne; A Skinful of Shadows by Frances Hardinge; A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett; and Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend.
