The Parents' Association is proud to play an active supportive role in the life of the school.

It provides an important and enjoyable point of social contact for parents and helps to raise funds for special school-related projects.  We are currently raising funds for a high quality media system for the dining room which the girls can use to watch events such as the Olympics and key news items, display cabinets for the Religious Studies and the Classics departments and contribution towards specialist musical instrument. 

Wherever possible, every school year is represented on our committee and we always welcome ideas and suggestions for future events. Membership covers the entire period your daughter is at school.  The Association also administers a Trust Fund providing financial assistance to help further the education of present and former pupils whose needs cannot be met from public or private funds.

The Association will run a series of social events throughout 2011-12.  We've recently held a highly successful social evening for the parents of pupils in the Thirds.  Our next event is the very popular Quiz Evening which will be held on Friday 18th of November (7:00pm for 7:30pm start).   This is a family friendly quiz night with a ploughman's supper and you don't need to be a Mensa member to join in!  Future events include Mumbai Dreamz on Friday 24th February which is an enormously enjoyable curry night with entertainment and the final event is the barbeque at the summer fete.  The money raised from the barbeque goes directly to the charity chosen by the school for that year. We look forward to meeting many parents at these events as your support is invaluable and the feedback that we've had is that the parents really enjoy the evenings as it's a chance to catch up with other parents and help with school funds at the same time.
