The School

KEHS was founded in 1883 as part of a foundation that dates back to 1552. The school is situated in impressive grounds in Edgbaston, Birmingham adjacent to King Edward’s School for boys.

The school provides excellent facilities for approximately 550 girls of good academic ability from 11 to 18 years of age.

School Radio

King Edward’s High School has launched its very first radio station, the KERB; King Edward’s Radio Broadcasting. This is an exciting new venture that we hope will grow and develop into something very popular that everyone can enjoy.

The KERB will broadcast as podcasts released on the Kerb Radio Broadcasting webpage. The content will vary from music, to debate, to chat, or even to a radio play! We will aim to provide something for everybody, so please tell us if you have any exciting ideas, and keep checking the website for podcasts!
