Young Enterprise Trade Fair

On 6th March the Young Enterprise company from KEHS, called ‘Cotton Candy’, participated in a trade fair in the Bullring, Birmingham. When we arrived early in the morning it was clear there were many other companies from various different schools around the West Midlands also attending the trade fair so there was plenty of competition. However we did not let that get in the way! We had to set up a stall which would promote and display our products as well as answering questions on the more technical aspects of the business. Our stall was very attractive to customers with an Easter and mother’s day theme running throughout and hence due to all our hard work we won ‘best overall stall’- the top prize awarded. Judges praised us for the attention to detail that had been applied to the whole business, the number of sales we had made so far and the fact that the whole team had a sound knowledge of the day to day operations of the company.
We are delighted to have won this award as it just goes to show that all our hard work has paid off and we are now busy preparing for the next trade fair on 27th March in Solihull.
