Our Spanish Partner School
Our Spanish Partner S chool, Instituto Educativo “Fuente Juncal”, from Huelva in Andalucia visited us in the week beginning 24 June 2009. We were delighted to have them in our school and are very grateful for the many gifts they brought, which will be used to create a display about Andalucia in Open Days. All the girls doing Spanish had the opportunity to have a real go at speaking Spanish to students of a similar age. We had a very full agenda and everybody involved had a wonderful time. These are some of the activities that took place during that week.
· Whole School Assembly about Huelva
· Attending normal lessons at KEHS
· Participating in the Management Challenge Day at KES
· Sevillana dancing and Speaking activity for Lower 5th
· Theatre representation of Scene 1 of “La Casa de Bernarda Alba” for AS students.
· Sports afternoon with KEHS girls, KES boys and Spanish students.
