Chartered Accountants of The Future

On Monday 6th July, a team of 6 Economists participated in the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) National Final, having won at the West Midlands Regional heat back in March. 

The pupils were given a business case study to analyse where they had to propose a strategy for the way forward.  This included a detailed financial analysis. 

The girls then had to present in front of a panel of 9 senior accountants.  They were highly successful and gained runner-up position.  To relieve their stress they were then treated to a 3 course dinner and talk given by the Managing Director of AGA cookware, followed by a disco! 

The girls involved are Rose Laitner, Abi Murcott, Chritie Phedon, Kavita Pnaiser, Grace Santos-Murphy and Charlotte Ward.
