‘Le Petit Ecolier’
Did you know that KEHS’ French Club was named after the famous French traditional biscuits. Perhaps that doesn’t come as a surprise to many of you given that the French are obsessed with fine cuisine and good food! Including biscuits!! ‘Les petits écoliers’ have met on several occasions to play French games, sing French songs and taste French food!! Ludevine, our French Assistant, runs this club ably assisted by members of the L6th. The 6th formers openly share their knowledge with our younger girls. Ludevine comments “In my opinion, the L6th girls have understood what is most important about any language, willing to transmit it and share with the others the culture and heritage it carries. And I’m very impressed by the level they’ve reached This Club is based on a good team work and all the meetings have been very successful. Girls have had a lot of fun and enjoyed the games, the songs, the chocolate mousse, the crepes and last but not least the yummy CARAMBARS!! Thank you so much to the 3rds and to the L4th for taking interest in my culture and ‘merci beaucoup’ to the L6th for their commitment. A special thank you to Heather for her precious help and advice. We’re so glad we’ve been allowed to use the kitchen at school to cook our recipes.”
