Sammy and Isabella from Rangi Ruru Girls’ School say goodbye.
We said goodbye to our latest exchange students on Monday 30th March. Sammy and Isabella from Rangi Ruru Girls’School in New Zealand had already entertained us in a whole school assembly with a New Zealand Haka. They also sang the New Zealand national anthem (with assistance from U4B) in English and Maori and they told us some very interesting facts about their homeland. The girls have really enjoyed their stay with us and we have enjoyed having them here with us. We wish them well and a safe journey home however we know that they have forged some lifelong friendships and that they will stay in touch with the school for a long time to come.
