Solihull Trade Fair – Sat 28th Feb

At 9am, Inferno the Young Enterprise Company that sell customised candles and personalised wooden products via pyrography were all dressed up in their Inferno customised T-shirts to start selling to the people of Solihull.

Faced with competition from 11 other companies that had stalls selling eco-friendly bags, personalised hoodies and a cooking DVD to name but a few, Inferno focused on their selling techniques to ensure everyone knew who we were.

Judging took place in the late morning, where the company was questioned on the ins and outs of their business. The judges were highly impressed by the product range in particular, the niche market of pyrography. The company won Runner Up Prize for Customer Service and Most Innovative Product which included a £30 reward.

The company gained very high sales of just under £200 although the highlight was meeting the Mayor of Solihull!

Following this success, the company are now all fired up for next weekend when they go to the Bullring, Birmingham.
