University Destinations

A very high proportion of our students achieve places at Russell Group universities and, equally importantly, select a vast array of degree choices, demonstrating that they are independent thinkers, keen to pursue their own individual interests.

Our aim is to ensure that every student gains a place on a course which she will enjoy at an excellent university. Aware that each student has different needs and aspirations, we work closely with Sixth Formers to help them navigate the bewildering range of options: some choose vocational courses such as medicine and dentistry, others want to pursue pure academic subjects, while others wish to study courses in the fine or performing arts, some preferring city universities, others campus or college-based sites, and some opting to continue their studies overseas including in the US.

Whatever their choices, our staff use their expertise and experience to guide each student. We offer support with UCAS form filling, interview practice and advice to ensure students are confident and well positioned to move to the next stage of their education.

Our support does not end when students leave school. Many return and some will want to discuss career options with us long after they leave school. Old Edwardians also provide a network that can help support former pupils and women at different stages of their careers.

We list below recent leavers to give a flavour of the variety of courses and destinations.
