Cosmic rays are high energy particles from outer space that slam into the Earth at speeds approaching the speed of light. Their study is important as it allows us to learn about collisions between black holes or high energy processes on the Sun.

Thirds Roman Day

On Monday 27th June, all the Thirds enjoyed a carousel of activities to introduce them to the Roman World. They had a session with a visiting Roman Soldier who took them out on the field to practise forming a testudo and throwing spears. Dr Gruzelier discussed Roman fashion and they all dressed up as Roman ladies.
