KEHS Bird Watch 2018

Students and teachers gathered in Lab 4 for our annual School Bird Watch! Nine species of bird were seen, including: Wood Pigeons, Blackbirds, Blue Tits, Hedge Sparrows, Magpies, Crows, Black-Headed Gulls and Starlings. Lastly, the team spotted a Peregrine Falcon, much larger and more chunky than a Sparrowhawk, perching on the University clock tower! Many thanks to Miss Buckley and the technicians for making the event run smoothly.

Following the snow this weekend, the site has been cleared and will be gritted in the morning, but please wear sensible footwear and take care when walking around the site.
