Modern Languages at Oxford Conference

On Wednesday afternoon we hosted the ‘Studying Modern Languages at Oxford Conference’ in the Ruddock Hall. Over 80 students from 10 schools across Birmingham attended the conference which was delivered by Oxford University tutors in French, Spanish and German. The students enjoyed mini-lectures on French, Spanish and German literature, as well as a mock interview between a tutor and a current undergraduate. There was also a Q&A session where students were able to ask questions about the applications process and the courses on offer at Oxford. In addition, there was a talk from a current undergraduate about her time at the University of Oxford.

Following the snow this weekend, the site has been cleared and will be gritted in the morning, but please wear sensible footwear and take care when walking around the site.
