Autumn Challenge Workshop

On Tuesday 14th November, KEHS welcomed 70 children from a number of primary schools across Birmingham to our annual Autumn Challenge Workshop. Throughout the morning, gifted and talented pupils from years 5 and 6 took part in Maths, Science and Spanish lessons delivered by our staff and ably supported by members of the Sixth Form. The workshops saw children try their hand at code-breaking in Maths, learning new words and phrases in Spanish and investigating crime scenes in Science where they were even able to record their own fingerprint! Our Challenge event was a great opportunity for the children to broaden their knowledge beyond the primary curriculum. Many thanks to all of the teachers involved and, in particular, to our Sixth Formers: Ryder, Hollie, Nimhara, Jessica, Maria, Saffron, Kimberly and Zahra.
