Printed information packs and application forms will be available for prospective candidates within the next fortnight; please request a prospectus in the meantime if you do not already have one. If you wish to download an application form for 2017 entry, please go to the 'Application Forms' page by clicking the link on the right hand menu.

One of the best ways to discover what KEHS has to offer is to visit on one of our open occasions.  These take place twice a year and there is an evening in the autumn term for girls interested in joining the Sixth Form. You are most welcome to come and meet staff and girls and see for yourself the unique blend of tradition and innovative thinking which is at the heart of KEHS. Copies of our prospectus and application forms are available from the right hand menu or can be posted on request. The majority of girls join King Edward VI High School for Girls in Year 7 or at Sixth Form level.

Entrance examinations for Year 7 take place at the beginning of October. The majority of candidates are not interviewed, but occasionally the Principal may wish to see some girls before offers are finalised. We aim to notify parents of the outcome before Christmas.

For Sixth Form we ask girls to sit examinations in the subjects they wish to study at A level and these usually take place on a Saturday during the Spring Term.  It is current practice for all Sixth Form candidates who perform well in the examinations to be interviewed before offer letters are sent out.

It is important for parents to advise whether or not they are accepting places as soon as possible and a deadline for that is issued.
